For REPAIR/PARTS Memorex hotsell Model 801 8mm Hi Fi Stereo Video Cassette Recorder. I tested this deck and it seems that the head needs to be replaced. At first it played the audio only, so I cleaned the head with alcohol, after that it didn't even play audio anymore. All the mechanisms are working, it takes the tape, plays, rewinds, ff, stop and eject are all working. No image or sound. It's not the connections, because the display screen with time stamp is coming through fine. Deck only, no power cord or remote.
