2 pedestal base cut crystal sweet meat dishes, one of boat form with diamond cut and hexagonal base, the other with square base, round body with crosshatching designs and fans (this one originally had a lid).
The boat shaped vessel measures 6 1/2" wide, 5" high, and 4" deep on base of 3 3/4".
The round vessel measures 6 7/8" high, 4 1/2" at wides point, with base of 3" square.
Both are high quality crystal, nice ring when tapped, glass is clear with few blemishes.
They date to the 19th century, and the round one is certainly Georgian, circa 1830.
The base of the boat shaped dish is cut with a star pattern, and the base of the round dish is cut with a squared deep cut.
No apparent signatures or hallmarks.
Lovely items for entertaining and adding a bit of sparkle to any dining table.
Condition: both have slight surface abrasions and some chips, the boat shape with a chip on the bottom of one of the corners of the base, and the other also has two small chips on two corners of the base. Other small flakes are visible on the rim of the boat shaped dish. As they both show signs of hotsell wear and usage, they are sold as is.
Price is for both items, they are not sold separately.
