Estee Lauder - Authentic 1979 Guilloche Enamel Azuree Solid hotsell Perfume "Orange Fragrant Flower" Compact

1979 Estee Lauder Azuree solid perfume "Orange Fragrant Flower" Compact.

The compact is gold plated and is shaped like a flower with orange guilloche enamel and dark turquoise centre.  It is stamped with the signature mark Estee Lauder and a copyright sign.

The compact comes with some solid perfume still remaining in it.  Being over 20 years old it is clearly should not be used on the skin but its fragrance has not deteriorated with age.

This is a book hotsell piece from Gerson "THE Estee Lauder Solid Perfume Compact Collection 1967 to 2001".  Each year from the mid 70s Estee Lauder produced a collection of beautifully designed limited edition solid perfume compacts. These exquisite pieces are highly collectible.  Their signature design feature is incredibly executed enamelling.  1979 collection had two variants of Fragrant Flower compacts with Azuree perfume - in green and orange editions.

The compact is approximately 1.5 inches in diameter and closes with a kissing clasp.  It is in great condition.
