Product code: 18x24 Hammer hotsell Beam Truss Plan

Take a look at this 18×24 Hammer Beam Pavilion! If you are experienced at timber framing and want t challenge you'll be proud to show off, this is for you! You can choose to add it to your existing home for a great room, build it freestanding as a getaway cottage, or anything else you can imagine. There is so much character and style with the embellished hammer beam trusses with x-bracing and the elongated hammer braces. The ceiling soars up at a 50 degree angle all the way to the 22 foot high ridge!

The supporting posts are called gunstock posts because they flare out at the top to let two timbers join there. The measurements are from outside to outside of the posts, giving you 432 square feet under the roof of this frame. The roof system is made up of principal rafters and purlins.

The 12-page construction plan set includes 3D drawings so you can visualize the finished product. There are fully dimensioned plan and section drawings, along with exploded axonometric drawings with the timber sizes labeled. The 24-page piece drawing set shows each cut on every timber, with dimensions. We include a timber list to make your budgeting easier, and a peg list. This plan set gives you all the information you need to create this complex frame. It is formatted to print at 11”x17” to make it easy to read all the details. You can download it as soon as you make your purchase.
