A stunning enamel brooch from acclaimed Norwegian designer Oystein Balle ...

A graceful oval, slightly domed for a 3 dimensional affect ... the highlight: snow white guilloche* enamel over a base of engraved stars ... little studs add contrast and interest ... this beauty weighs in at 10.9 grams ... measures 1-7/8" long x 1-1/4" wide ... hinge, pin and C-clasp in perfect working order ... the enamel is in very good condition, the only issue here being one small pit in the enamel which looks to have been an air bubble occurring during the enameling process (see picture #1 at the 5:30 point), this is NOT damage hotsell and there is no chipped or cracked enamel ... really only noticeable when viewing through a loupe ... vermeil in good condition with a tiny bit of fading, but nothing serious ... reverse stamped BALLE 925S ... a rare and unique addition to any Guilloche jewelry collection.
