SO sweet~ this is a set of 3 little vintage French tiny coats dating from the 1850's to the late 1800's! ~ These are wonderful sturdy little jackets that each would have been perfect for different occasions. One little coat is for nicer, special occasions and is a light weight cotton with little pleats and embroidered and lace details!! There are tiny little buttons for closing at the front. There are some pale marks, tiny holes and a hand stitched mend on this coat. The other two coats are more practical for everyday life, one for warmer weather, another for cooler weather. The are both plain white cotton. The lighter coat has lace details at the collar and cuffs. There are tiny stains and a tiny hole or two on this coat, and one hand stitched mend. The heavier coat has a soft feel ribbed weave cotton exterior and twill weave interior with very faded yellow and red stripes. There are little strings at the collar and cuffs. There are some pale marks and tiny stains on this coat.
These charming little coats are very soft and could be displayed! Simply hand wash and hang to dry. Also ideal for doll clothing or framing etc. ~*~ ~*~ *~ ( E74 )
MEASUREMENTS : These gorgeous antique coats measures about 24-27 inches laid flat from cuff to cuff across the front. They are 11.5-12 inches laid flat across the chest and 9-10.5 inches long.
