An impressionistic view of a large bird, an eagle overlooking the landscape. The green and gold background is artistically made of small pieces of fabric that adds an impressionistic view of the scene. Yarn adds texture. 15" x 16" 38 cm x 40 cm

This technique is called fabric layering. I place the backing on a table and cover it with the batting. Then I create the picture on the batting using fabric and threads, adding different layers as needed. When finished, the scene is covered with tulle and machine quilted together. The edges are zigzagged twice. When done, the tulle is very hard to see.

I have won several awards for my art work.

A quilt is made up of three layers, the top, the batting in the middle and the back. A fabric tube or sleeve is hand sewn to the top back of the quilt to ease hanging. A bamboo dowel is included. It can be easily hung from 2 push pins.

Keep out of direct sunlight. Shake or dust to clean.
Made in a smoke free,fragrance free and pet free environment.
