The Helene design is a modern nod to the iconic polka dot. This medium-weight wrap is a super soft, medium-bodied, cushy wrap with diagonal stretch. The fluid drape and velvety hand make Helene suitable for all ages-- it's easy to wrap with and easy to care for.

Arctica is a combination of a natural cotton warp with a dual weft of bright jewel toned red and Napa Repreve yarns. It is soft, cushy, and supportive with a bouncy "wool-like" body and wonderful breathability. Repreve blends combine the best of comfort, sustainability and safety all in one wrap.

Our ring slings are cut at 90" long, pre-wash, and use certified Sling Rings.



About Repreve:

Q: What is Repreve?
A: Repreve, made by Unifi, is a family of synthetic fibers containing recycled materials. Unlike many other recycled yarns, the recycled content is certified by an outside party.

Q: How is Repreve yarn made?
A: PET plastic bottles are recycled and collected. The bottles enter a unique material conversion process, where they are chopped, melted, and reformulated to form a recycled chip. The Repreve chip then enters a proprietary extrusion and texturing process to form Repreve recycled fiber.

Q: Is Repreve safe? Does it contain BPA?
A: The Repreve yarn Tekhni uses is made from recycled PET water bottles. PET is food grade and BPA-free. In addition, Repreve's Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification ensures that yarns are free of harmful levels of more than 100 restricted substances. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is the world's leading label for textiles screened for harmful substances.

Product care:
Please note, all of our wraps are cut longer and wider than actual size to allow for shrinkage in the first washing.

Tekhni wraps arrive to you in loomstate, and will need a wash to be ready for use. For Repreve-blend wraps, an initial wash in warm water with low spin is recommended with subsequent washes on a gentle cycle with cool water. hotsell Use of natural detergents without any optical brighteners will also help keep colors from fading. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can break down the fibers.

Wraps can be tumble dried on low, followed with an optional low-temperature iron to reduce wrinkling and soften up after a washing.

Our wraps are made to withstand the rigors of everyday life-- however please treat with care to extend the life of the fabric. Remember to follow our safety guidelines before using, and always inspect your wraps for signs of wear or damage.

Babywearing safety:
Do not carry your baby if you feel uncomfortable doing so for any reason. Your child's safety is your responsibility, and is the most important thing to consider.
