Vintage Mola Folk Art Pillow/ Reverse Applique Stitchery/ 2 Sided Political Historical Design/ San Blas Kuna Indian hotsell

hotsell Fascinating Vintage Kuna Mola two-sided pillow from the San Blas Islands in Panama. The theme appears to be Political or Historical with various weapons or implements pictured, plus 2 numbers and the word "FEB"; the 2 sides are ALMOST identical, but have subtle differences in color and placement of the numbers. The two panels are expertly hand-stitched in detailed reverse applique. I am assuming it was sewn by a native indigenous Kuna tribe member from the San Blas Islands of Panama. The pillow seam is machine-stitched around the outer edge and measures approx 16" x 15"; the appliqued panels each measure approx 14" x 11". Colors are still bright with all stitching intact. There is a small area of damage to the fabric in one corner of one panel (see last photo). I do not know what pillow is stuffed with. (Please examine all photos carefully before purchasing)
