Enameled Copper hotsell Penguin earrings 2 sided with Silver Gingko

These are etched copper earrings. The penguins hotsell were etched on one side with the pattern reversed. I used the coloring in reverse as well. Part of the etching was painted in with black underglaze and a transparent enamel was fired on the top to accentuate the red gold copper.

On the opposite side, I used black opaque enamel and then placed pure silver foil gingko leaves I punched out, on the enamel and fired it again. The foil fused with the enamel. This way the earrings have 2 entirely different patterns on each side. They can be worn with 2 different outfits.

These are one of a kind earrings.
