There are a number of scientific studies that claim the positive effects of improving toddlers' balance abilities especially after 18 months. I used these studies as an excuse to break out to my workshop and made this 9 piece set out of pine. I didn't use any finish, I just sanded hotsell it till the wood feels like silk. I used my lathe to make the 2 cm diameter dowels on the connectors which connect the beams. I don't like to use plywood when making toys or accessories for children just the natural wood itself.
