Summer Olympics 1980 (official name - the Games of the XXII Olympiad) were held in Moscow, the capital of the USSR, from 19 July to 3 August 1980. These was the first and the last time when USSR was the owner of Olympics in the history of the Olympic Games.
Olympic bear has become a symbol of these games. So this Olympic bear was made in 80 year in celebrate the opening XXII Olympiad in USSR.
