Saggar-fired clay bottle with rabbit figure (2 pieces). This original piece has a gorgeous range of colors from reds, browns, blacks, whites, and mauve. Made of stoneware. The base is wheel-thrown and altered while the rabbit is hand sculpted to fit into the bottle neck. Approximate Dimensions: 14 (H) x 4 (W) x 3 (D). Saggar is a type of unique firing technique in which the two pieces painted with ferric oxide and are fired inside a container which creates the beautiful effects. Would make great centerpiece or a piece on a pedestal for show. Beautiful matte surface which feels lovely in the hands.
