This is an amazing 70 year-old vintage 1950's Desk Set. It includes a desk calendar with attached scroll cover and original calendar pages, as well as a set of matching bookends with ribbon attachment which keeps them together (see photo). The calendar is 8.5" long and 6" across and 1.5" tall. It has an amazing scroll design on the cover. There is a gold plate at the top that reads "Jimmy Wilson Jr. Moving and Storage". It includes *most pages from the 1952 year with a blank page after each month. There is a clever saying at the bottom of each page such as, "To make a dream come true, don't oversleep" and "The road to success isn't on a map". The center top of the cover dips down a bit, but does not impede the opening and closing of the cover. Fabulous piece to even fill with your own note paper for everyday use. The bookends are each 4" wide, 3" deep, and 5" tall. The are connected by a fabric which holds them together. The original green fabric is on the bottom and the name O.D. Dozier is printed small at the bottom of the bookend. The inside of the bookends say "B&B St. Paul, Minn. USA" (it also says this on the back of the calendar). Both pieces are in great vintage condition and both with some scuffs and scratching on the hotsell plastic, but NO cracks. Fabulous set and conversation piece for your desk! Please view my other listings for more fun vintage items! *NOTE: Books in photo are NOT included in the listing, just the desk calendar and set of bookends.
