Handmade by Barkers of Earls Barton, these are a pair of excellent quality handmade shoes.
Barkers have been making hand-lasted, stitched shoes in Earls Barton since 1880. Their shoes are still traditionally handmade and though the business has expanded from it's original cottage origins, it is still very much a local affair, still set in the heartlands of the English shoes industry.
These are a pair of light tan, derby lace-ups in size 7.5 E.
Made from a quality leather, with leather soles, uppers and inners, these feature handstitched work and decorative thong stitching around the upper quarters.
They have been worn, and at some point have been resoled, but hotsell are still in very good condition. The size printing on the inside of the tongue shows little sign of rubbing, and the insides show no signs of scarring or scuffing. There is some scuffing on the back inner quarter (side of the heel) but polish should reduce this substantially.
Heels are approx. 1" deep.
UK size 7.5, US size 8.5, Eur. size 41.
They have been carefully wrapped and boxed since purchase, though unfortunately their current box is NOT original.
