At first glance this wonderful portrait of a young girl looks like a photograph. But look again hotsell and you'll see that it's actually a painting.

It captures the happiness of a young girl who appears to have just emerged from swimming, wrapped in a red cloth or robe with embroidered band, with the curled up ends of her hair damp from the water.

The painting is in wonderful condition. There's a small indent and spot missing paint near the bottom edge. There's no hanger on the back, but it can be hung from the lip of the wood frame.
