AMBRE is actually a fossil resin secreted by conifers, formed 50 million years ago. More or less translucent, this resin often contains air bubbles and animal (insect fossil) or plant inclusions. This is a very beautiful and original gift idea!

Although not a mineral material, natural Amber hotsell is often considered a gemstone. It is an organic "gem" in the same way as coral, jeais, cultured pearls and ivory.
