Summer Nostalgy - OOAK Silver necklace with Sea Glass, Seashells and Cubic Zirconia

This one-of-a-kind necklace has been created with the love of Summer in mind, its design being born while as I was browsing through the little treasures collected from the beach.
The necklace is perfect both for the summer days and also for when you miss summer or the sea.

The rounded, concave, free-form shape of the pendant reminds of old artifacts, together with its oxidized appearance. The pendant has two sides and can be worn on either of them.
The front side features a 1.5 cm green sea glass and a complimentary 2 mm cubic zirconia, surrounded by silver seashells, which I formed using moulds of real shells.

On the back side, the pendant has some small cuts, revealing some of the sea glass forming a little green fish and three air bubbles, surrounded by seaweed.

The pendant is made of fine silver (999) and measures approx. 2.7 x 3.1 cm (height x width) and comes together with a 2.8 mm thick and 55 cm long chain (therefore 27.5 cm on each side) made of sterling silver (925).

The technique I used to make the pendant is metal clay and the bezel was then soldered on the kiln-fired piece.

The chain comes shiny, by default (for a better contrast with the pendant), however I can oxidize it for you, should you wish. If you think you need a smaller chain, let me know and we will settle this as well.

This piece will be securely packaged and will come in a gift box.


Note:
Since the product is handcrafted, it is normal to have small imperfections, which are a part of the beauty of handmade jewelry.
