This collectable porcelain hand made in Spain figurine is in mint condition. This piece was signed “Lladro hand made in Spain DAISA” and was a Bellflower Number 3 that was manufactured between 1977 to 1984. The DAISA (Designos Artisanos Industriaies SA) denotes that the figurine design has been copyrighted. Plus the piece number has been added to the bottom. This Lladró figurine was designed in 1970 by artist Fulgencio Garcia and is 7” in height with a base width of 4 ¾”.

The Lladró figurines have a rich history and are coveted. Their ability to invoke emotions with their storyline and interesting character has set them apart from their peers. The Lladró craftsmanship, and the subdued rich pastel glazes are a favorite among many collectors.

This piece is an enduring subject with the three young angels singing in choir. The draped clothing is especially nice with precise and detailed sculpting.

This exquisite Lladró of “Angels Group ” was purchased in the 1980's. At the time my brother was a Naval pilot and always flew into the Rota Spain military base. At the Base Exchange he would purchase many Lladró pieces. This precious work of vintage art, that is over thirty years old, was one of them.
