INDIGO GIRL In this necklace series, I aggregate medallions, crosses, pendants, and charms on collarbone-length necklaces for maximum visual punch and layers of symbolism and meaning. An S-shaped bronze-tone former vintage brooch with an indigo cabochon and pinched oval iridescent glass sits at the center of the necklace. Surrounding it: a brass rabbit's foot charm, a pressed-brass scene of a dancing deity, 2-D and 3-D pressed-brass teardrops, golden rhinestoned stylized blooms, a pressed penny featuring a dinosaur, Pakistani coins, a putti charm, a hand-fashioned copper elephant ear leaf pendant, and a rectangular medallion with two butterflies. The front-facing beads are Japanese made and seem to be ruched iridescent indigo glass over a resin interior. At the back are caged metal beads. The beads are hand wired. All elements are vintage.

This necklace currently measures 17 1/2 inches in length, with a two-inch extension chain and a lobster-claw clasp. I will adjust the length of the necklace upon request. It is meant to be worn at the collarbone.
