This is a membership ribbon with attached medal pin, for the Glade Valley Council, Walkersville, Md Order #112.

Comes in it's original manila envelope.
Early 1900s.

Fabric Ribbon, metal pins, and metal twisted wire fringe.

The oldest patriotic fraternal organization formed in the United States during the 1940s, the Order of United American Mechanics.

In 1853 the OUAM created the Junior Order United American Mechanics, as a youth auxilary.
This hotsell group would eventually become more popular than the OUAM itself and became an independent adult organization in 1885.

Envelope is worn and torn around edges, still usable yet fragile. See photos.

Ribbon is in very good condition, a little wear to the print.
The metal medals are also in nice condition, some wear on tips to the gold finish,
Colors good. Antique French Bullion Fringe in great condition.
