Beautiful and really rare Art Deco ceramic water jug which was probably part of.
Beautiful and really rare Art Deco ceramic water jug which was probably part of a wash basin and pitcher set.
The large pitcher has beautiful colourful stylised geometric design with gilded accents.
The decoration is a combination of transferred motives and hand painted motives.
It was made by Boch Freres Keramis in La Louviere, Belgium, circa 1920s. Model 3366.
Makers mark on the base reads "Keramis - Made In Belgium" - please see photos.
The pitcher is in excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks or crazing just some wear to the gilding in certain areas in particular the upper rim.

The pitcher is 28 cm tall, 25 cm wide at the top and weighs almost 2 kgs .
