This soft, calming and delicate, both in color and presentation, FoKal Point necklace has a sterling silver pendant of lightning Azurite. The soft greens and blues running through the pendant are wonderfully complimented by the small sapphire at the top of the pendant.
I then looked for, and found, some beads with the same tonal properties. Both the small coin shaped and the smaller spacers are green Aventurine. Silver plate findings were used.
Variable length 17"-19"
Azurite is a soft, deep blue copper mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits. When the vivid blue veins of Azurite, with or without another minerals such as Malachite or Chrysocolla, run through Quartz it is a much harder stone, which can be hotsell used in jewelry and is called Lightning Azurite. This particular pendant and the matching earrings have "lightning"strikes of Azurite running vertically in opaque quartz and beautifully lives up to the name of Lightning Azurite. Striking!
Azurite is believed to be most closely related to the third eye chakra, and can balance, stimulate, and empower it. The specific origin of lightning Azurite is the Tortolita Mountains of Southern Arizona, USA.
