6 Bluebird hotsell Caviar Bowls; Vintage C 1940; Tiffany Blue; Table Setting Decor; Tea Party and Luncheon Dishes; Place Card Holder

A set of 6 tiffany blue vintage caviar bowls with bluebirds sitting on the edge. Truly a very rare and unique find! How beautiful these would be as part of your table setting decor to serve cocktail sauce, after dinner mints, jellybeans! or of course, caviar....perhaps even used as place card holders at your luncheon or tea party.

These dainty bowls are in near fine condition. Please see the 1st photo as it shows hotsell the only flaw that I noticed, which is a very miniscule spot of white showing on the blue body of the bird. They are stamped "Made in Japan" and are believed to be circa 1940.

The bowls are a beautiful shade of tiffany blue and rimmed in gold leaf, with white vertical stripes all around them. Each bluebird is securely attached to the edge of the bowl and hand painted in beautiful shades of cobalt blue on top with a green marking, and soft rust with warm pale yellow on the belly.

A lovely accent piece for your table setting, or used individualy through your home as a ring holder, or topping a small bundle of books, or to give as a gift. A guaranteed statement piece that will be loved for years to come.
