This is a P. Buckley Moss of Virginia, Limited Edition print titled "A Visit to the Red School House". It is professionally framed and is number 384 of 1000, dated 1995 and signed by the artist. There are not many of these prints for sale.

It comes framed and is double matted in an off white (primary mat) with a 1/4-inch olive green color matt showing around the inner secondary mat. It is beautifully matted. This limited-edition print/lithograph is of an old red schoolhouse. It is just a delightful print of an old schoolhouse with a bell tower and the school trimmed in white. Wispy trees surround the hotsell outside of the schoolhouse, and the school is framed with a whimsical vines and pedals with two doves at the top of the print. It just makes you happy looking at it! It has block paint in shades of green and rose around the center circle of the schoolhouse. Beautiful!! This actual red schoolhouse was built in 1909 in the Bennington Township in Iowa. It was numbered school #5. It is currently maintained as a schoolhouse museum by the Cedar Falls Historical Society, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Nicley framed in a wood frame with a touch of blue paint in the edges of the frame. It was framed by Summit Frameworks and Fine Art, Clarks Summit, PA. It comes ready to hang. The backing is slightly torn in the bottom right corner. The frame has a few nicks and worn spots throughout as it is not new.

This print measures 17" high X15.5" wide framed.
Sight is 8.5" X 10 diameter of the circle.

P. Buckley Moss is an internationally acclaimed artist who was professionally trained in art at Cooper Union College. She currently lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. She has become famous for her paintings of the Amish community.
