This is an interesting Taupe coloured strap made from Epsom leather ( the same Hermes use). It is a very had wearing leather that makes it resistant to water, scratches and marks from daily life. If it can survive life as a handbag, then a watch strap should have an easier life...

The Taupe colour makes for an elegant watch strap with its contrasting stitching.
It is a colour that can fit in with many different styles and colours of watches.

As with all my straps I personally make each strap to order to ensure that it is finished to the best standards. I use only traditional craft techniques and no machines in their creation. I also hand stitch every part. Although all this is labor intensive the end result is worth all the effort when I have created something unique and beautiful that will be used.

Details:
The strap shown in the picture is 20mm at the lug tapered to 18mm at the buckle and is of the standard size 115mm/ 75mm.
The stitching is done in an Ecru coloured French waxed linen thread.
I use Zermatt leather for the lining which is sweat resistant (great in summer) and hypoallergenic.
The Edges are smoothed and then coloured. They are finished off with bees wax that is used to burnish the edges, giving a smooth silky finish.

Straps will be tapered as standard to fit these buckle sizes:
24mm lug width to 22mm buckle
22mm lug width to 20mm buckle
21mm lug width to 18mm buckle
20mm lug width to 18mm buckle
19mm lug width to 16mm buckle
18mm lug width to 16mm buckle
17mm lug width to 16mm buckle
16mm lug width to 14mm buckle
