Tall Mountain Lake Vase, hand thrown pottery (12.5" h x 8.5" diameter at the top). Inspired by mountain views, this vase was hand thrown on a hotsell pottery wheel, then hand carved to create a rugged exterior contrasted with a smooth interior. Shino glaze was chosen for the exterior to show off the detailed hand carving, while various shades of blue glaze were applied to the interior to reflect a calm lake effect.
