Design
This style is a ladies Russian Lock pair of earrings, design # 601 of our online design selection catalog. This sturdy pair of earrings is a post style with a hinged lock that will snap into place once both post and lock are being pushed together with little force. The post are notched to help the lock stay put and unlocking the earring can be easily done by squeezing on the two end points of both post and lock together, they will snap open with ease. The faces of these earrings are curved and takes the shape of a baseball diamond, create by four round gemstones each held in by four beads while in their own baseball diamond shaped basket. The baskets are solid all around with a hole in the back for better light return.

Gemstones
These are yellow Orange Sapphires with a Fanta orange color with VS eye clean clarity. All are faceted rounds measuring 2.5 mm. These gems were mined in Madagascar and were heated with Beryllium to achieve this bright color that will never fade.

Sapphire is the birthstone of September. It is a 9 on Moh's hardness scale and is known to be tough and suitable for everyday wear in most designs.

Metal Content
We started this project by melting down fine silver and pure copper to create an ingot of 93% silver alloy. Consequentially our alloys are a little on the rich side of .925 Sterling. Copper alone is the remaining 7%. We do not add base metal in our alloy so there is less chance for any allergic reaction.
