American Parade, LE, 601/2000, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Bear, Tricycle, COA, Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork was produced in 2002 for 2003 release. Good condition original box with clear label, nice overall finish and shape, exception confined to lid top having isolated, short, shallow creases which do dimple the surface at each crease point but overall, lid top is flat. This is not a perfect lid surface. Original bubble wrap accessory bag is open and stapled to liner floor. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (Note: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Hair retains original braids and ribbons. Hairnet is not present. All garments, undergarments, trims, shoes and shoe soles, as well as tricycle (motion confined to axle points) are exemplary and exactly as original. Bear is jointed, including side to side motion at neck, as new, and has original bandana. This doll shows no signs of display nd is complete, as original. Wendy is all American adorable in her plaid cotton gingham dress in patriotic colors! Reddish brown hair is braided as neat as a pin and suits her freckled face and crystal blue eyes. Old Glory applique dominates the bodice of her shirt sleeve, gathered dress. Extremely full cut, it has contrast hem band and skirt is cut shorter than her elaborate, double-scalloped half slip underneath. Eyelet cotton with bold roses and delicate curved leaf motifs, it adds considerable visual interest to her ensemble. Custom, lace edged tap pants underneath are fashioned of the same gingham., working back to the hem band. The red rickrack at square neckline and sleeve edges add overall color balance, along with her custom red sneakers in a semi-gloss, leather finish. Her little bear sits well on the tricycle and has bead eyes and embroidered facial features, as well as contrast faux suede paws, Polyester fur has the appearance of cashmere. A sweet little pair, they pose so well together and represent American pride and wholesome fun!


MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is often more important than listing "never removed from box." I do briefly remove to restring after testing in the box confirms that is needed, and then re-tie into box in original configuration. My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no hotsell fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
