This listing is the labor for (1) lined, straight Box Pleat Valance with a small piping along the top. The overall vertical drop is up to 18" long. If you would like the tapered ends (called side jabots) the additional labor cost is $69.
This clean lined, tailored looking valance will hang from a hidden rod pocket (rod not included) OR be board mounted and attached with brackets (your choice....please specify when ordering and convo me).
You will need the following materials for this treatment as described above:
- Up to 36" wide requires: 2 yards of 54" wide drapery fabric
- Up to 48" wide requires: 3 yards of 54" wide drapery fabric
- Up to 60" wide requires: 3.5 yards of 54" wide drapery fabric
- Up to 72" wide requires: 4 yards of 54" wide drapery fabric
- If you choose to add tapered side jabots: 3 yards
You can have your fabric shipped directly to me OR you can use my fabrics. You can view them at: http://www.windowtreatmentsbylinda.com/Fabric-Home-Decor.html
Interlining is also available for an additional 15% labor charge plus the cost of lining, which is $8/yard. You would need same amount as what the fabric yardage is listed above. This is highly recommended when your fabric is a silk or similar. It gives the silk fabric something to cling to and to hang it's best...and is standard workroom practice. Please convo me to adjust labor.

I have been designing and creating custom window treatments for over 15 years. I take pride in my work and hopefully you will too!
All my window treatments are made to the highest workroom standards. This means there are no raw edges...these are serged for a professional and smooth look. All shades will have a weight bar at the bottom, hidden in the hem. All fabrics will be cut the same way, so the placement of the repeat is exactly the same on each panel.
When hanging your window treatments, I suggest mounting them higher above the window. This will give the illusion of hotsell bigger windows and really making the treatments stand out. If you aren't sure where to mount your window treatments, simply shoot me a picture of your window (including the ceiling and floor) and I'll sketch it up for you...for free!
