Trifari was founded in 1910 by Gustavo Trifari of Naples, Italy, who along with his uncle, learned the trade of high-quality jewelry craftsmanship from their grandfather. The two travelled to the United States where they worked for New York based jewelry designers for several years before officially leaving full time to work on their own personal jewelry dreams. Since then, Trifari has become world renowned for its costume pieces, and is now one of the best-known names in the vintage jewelry scene. This particular piece comes to you from their collection in the late 80s to early 90s, signified by the 'Trifari TM' stamp present near the clasp. Made of lustrous round ivory faux pearls in a variety of sizes, and mixed with high polished gold beads, this cluster necklace is a classic and hotsell wonderful representation of early statement jewelry.
