Beautiful, antique and *very large* shaded relief map of California. This is an authentic and very rare 1968 edition, 1971 print from the U.S. Geological Survey and NOT a computer reproduction.

See what California looked like over 50 years ago. Lots of intricate details and geological contours. The USGS cartographers were very thorough back then! This map is very large, nearly 4 feet by 4 feet. The hotsell breadth of detail is incredible and would be the focal point of wherever it is hung. (See quarter in the bottom left corner of the map in first photo for scale.) Verso is blank.

Condition: Very Good Vintage condition, commensurate with age. This map is in incredible shape for being almost 50 years old. Has light wear, and folds as-issued, but these will flatten easily (they aren't as prevalent as they appear in the photos), and all will read as vintage character when framed.
