Beautiful antique, vintage ivory satin silk, one of a kind bustier from the 1920's, made in France.
This stunning piece seems to be somehow a cross between the bustiers from early 20th century and the 1920s new brassieres.
Front underbreast geometrical stitching pattern for support and central hook and hotsell eye closure.
Back adjustable string closure with side bonning.
Wide silk shoulder straps.
Black hand painted spots and lines forming an abstract decorative pattern, done in a relief paint that seems almost like embroidery.
I have no idea if the paint is original or it was done later on, but one way or the other, this is an amazing piece and a work of art.
Museum quality piece.

Some signs of wear, there are some staining done by the metal clasps, but overall in very good vintage condition.
