This listing is for a beautiful antique silver plated cake basket. The rim and handle are decorated with engraved flowers and garlands. The piece is marked “community plate” which is a mark from the company Oneida community silver. This mark was used between 1899 and 1929, hotsell which dates this piece somewhere in that period. A beautiful piece to serve small cakes and sweets, or can be used on a vanity or as a center piece.
SIZE: 14” long by 6.75” wide and 5.25” high
CONDITION: In good antique condition with minor scuffs and marks, no dents , no repairs and loss of plating.
