'Marcel Duchamp as Rrose Sélavy' is a 16" x 20" (40.64 x 50.8 cm) high-resolution print on Somerset hotsell Velvet paper, a fine-toothed, 100% cotton matte art paper. It is a computer-aided (largely conceptual) portrait of the conceptual artist Marcel Duchamp as Rrose Sélavy, his alter-ego. The name is a pun in French: "Eros c'est la vie' means (translating a little freely) 'Erotic pleasure is life'. I have a huge appreciation for Duchamp. My 2014 novel 'The Bride Stripped Bare By Her Bachelors, Even' is largely about him. The print is limited to an edition of 64, initialed and numbered in pencil. My printer is Vivid Print (https://www.vividprint.ca/) on Whyte Avenue, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
