Tin Shadowdancer Valentine Children hotsell tin figures measure 11" tall. They are made of tin which is beautifully hand painted.
The girl is dressed in red and white heart dress with lace at the bodice and an off white apron. She has blonde hair with ringlets and blue eyes.
The boy is dressed in heart pattern trousers with suspenders and a red shirt with white hearts. He has brown hair, freckles and blue eyes.
They are both holding Valentine hearts.
The signature on the legs reads "Young c 86.
These are a pair of the original Edna Oar Young creations from the 80s for Shadowdancer, Inc. from Angelica, New York. Each of these distinctive figures are signed and dated. They are representative of the primitive shadow dancer toys of the past which children played with in front of the fire.
The tag on the boy has a stain on the front. Otherwise, they are both in excellent condition.
