LEATHER

In this bag; Waketa leather obtained from natural tanned cow leather is used. The leather is tanned with vegetable hotsell tannins derived from the acorn plant. Leather is a living material, so the scars or wrinkles seen on the surface of the skin are due to the natural structure of the skin. (The majority of smooth-looking leathers are made with filler dyes and are also less costly than leather.)

PAINT
Analyne type dye with vegetable raw material and high permanence is used. In this product group, where we prefer antique coffee tones, there may be tonal differences in colors as the dyes are prepared separately for each product. Although the model is the same, each handmade product has its own identity. This feature usually manifests itself in the structure and color of the leather.
The figures we use in the bag are inspired by the traditional Ottoman and Seljuk motifs drawn by hand and the rug patterns used in Anatolia.

CARE AND USE RECOMMENDATIONS

• Do not fill your bag above its capacity.
• Do not test your leather products with fire. The final coat of polish and the leather itself in your product will burn in the fire. (The term non-combustible leather is used for the situation in which materials made of petroleum-derived products, which are not leather but resemble leather in shape, melt in the face of fire without igniting.) Vaketa leather, which we use in this bag, is not fire resistant.
• Salt water (sweat, sea water, etc.) adversely affects your leather products. In such a negative situation, clean your bag with normal water and leave it to dry in a shaded place. Keep wet leather products away from high heat sources such as stoves or heaters.
• Substances such as wet wipes, alcohol, spirits, cologne cause the paint and leather of your leather products to deteriorate. Use a dampened soft cloth to clean. You can use a polishing sponge.
