Calochortus hotsell amabilis, Diogenes' Lantern, Original Aquatint Etching

The fabled Diogenes' Lantern! This lovely wildflower, Calochortus amabilis, grows several counties north of me, and I always wanted to see one. Thank you, Tommy and Zoe, for getting married in early May, so I could finally meet this lovely flower in person! And thanks to the folks who post on iNaturalist, I got the scoop on some locations.
