The black zirconium layer is formed by heating zircon to a very high level. Oxidation on the surface of the hotsell metal takes place, creating a rich, black color.

It was formed in Arizona by a craftsman who enjoys frequenting the many red rock canyons and narrows found in Northern Arizona. He was inspired, in part, by the breathtaking designs he saw etched into canyon walls, carved by centuries of sculpting from the red-silted streams and creeks that flow heavily in that area after late summer rain storms.

Spurred by the many unique and beautiful materials and designs in nature, Red River Rings was born. The proprietor has contributed, in part, some of his unique ideas to jewelry makers for the past ten years, and now seeks to expand his sphere of influence. Red River strives to deliver one-of-a-kind rings with unique materials and creative designs that are fresh and unorthodox.

Shipping:

FREE US standard shipping takes 2-7 business days for delivery after the ring is shipped. Canadian shipping via standard USPS is $22.99 and everywhere else around the world is $25.99 via standard USPS. Please note that these shipping charges reflect the recent raise in postage cost for international shipping. If expedited shipping options are desired or needed, please contact us and we would be happy to help you get your ring sooner. Please review our shop listing for other shipping options & costs.

(Size) Exchanges:
We offer a free size exchange on your item(s) within 30 days of receipt. We do ask that you pay a shipping and handling fee of $21.50. Our international size exchange shipping and handling fee is $41.50. If you decide to take advantage of our FREE SIZE EXCHANGE offer, let us know through Etsy messaging, and we will send you instructions about how to complete the exchange.
Once you purchase the size exchange shipping and handling fee via Etsy (we will send you a link to it) and once we receive your returned ring, we will begin working on your new ring. Resized rings are generally completed within 3 to 5 business days, depending upon the complexity of the ring.
When mailing your return, please remember to mail it with a tracking number (and message us that number so that we can track your shipment to its destination). Also, please include your original invoice or order number, along with a note stating the reason for the return and the new size you would like (feel free to also email or text us this information).
Customers are responsible for the cost of postage for returns. For international orders, customers are also responsible for any additional customs or import fees that are levied by the country from which they purchase the ring/s from Red River.

Refunds:
We offer a refund within 30 days of receipt on any unworn items. However, we do not offer refunds for meteorite rings, so please be sure to ask for a free ring sizing kit so that you can ensure that you order a correct size. For rings that are returnable, there is a small restocking fee of 20% of the ring's original cost. This amount will be subtracted from the final amount that is refunded to you. Customers are responsible the cost of postage for returns.
When mailing your return, please remember to mail it with a tracking number (and message us that number so that we can track your shipment to its destination). Red River is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages if a tracking number is not included with a return shipment. Please request a cancellation within 12 hours of purchase as we start work on your custom rings as soon as possible.
