Oval vine earrings handmade in recycled sterling silver, tendril swirl hotsell earrings, dark silver jewellery, bohemian silversmith earrings

Handmade out of solid sterling silver these earrings are unique and one of a kind. Inspired by delicate vines and tendrils growing in my garden I created a shadow box effect. The background of the silver is darked to bring out all the lovely details and really make the design pop!

MATERIALS & PROCESS

♢ Solid Sterling (.925) and Argentium (.925) silver, made from 100% recycled silver and guaranteed to be nickel free!

♢ I have applied a dark patina to the background of each earring, which will only get darker with time. The high points are polished to a bright shine, creating a beautiful contrast of dark and light, which really makes the design stand out. This contrast is what sterling silver is famous for!

♢ The back of the earrings are smooth.

INSPIRATION & SYMBOLISM

♢ I am captivated by the idea of a secret garden. This garden can be real or imagined, natural or man made, found in our dreams or one of those beautiful places in nature that we seek out. Wherever it is, it is a place of freedom to learn, grow and discover.

♢ These earrings a part of my secret garden collection, which all have a type of frame/ shadow box around the design. I like to think of these frames as little windows that give us a glimpse into some place beautiful.

♢ These earrings have a total length of 5.5 cm with the ear wire. The oval shape measures 3.1 x 1.2 cm.
