Religious hotsell French carving of Jesus

hotsell Here we have a beautiful old French hand carved wooden Jesus face on a round disc. Carving is from one piece of wood, the wood is very heavy and dense so think it may be something like a type of ebony. Diameter is approximately 9 inches 23cm and weight is 1.8 kg.
