Stunning and affordable entry into the beautiful world that is Roseville Pottery . . .

Vintage Roseville JONQUIL 524-4 Bulbous Vase Bowl

Circa 1931 ~ Unmarked, as was the entire line of "Jonquil" and would have had a silver foil label
Roseville was sold to Mosaic Tile in 1954

Personally, one of Ms. RoMar's favorite patterns (followed by ALL of Roseville's florals, especially the "Sunflower" :)) . .
The rich brown black earthtones contrasted by the relief of the white & yellow jonquils and the green leaves . . . So pleasing to the eye, so calming, so humbling

Measures ~4" tall x ~6-1/2" hotsell wide (handle to handle) x ~4-3/4" deep

Weighs 1 lb. 4 oz., hefty for its size ;)

Photos #1-4 circle the vase ~ Photos #8-9 shows a 'pristine' bottom/footing; this vase was used as a planter, however was WELL-cared for and hardly moved about, as evidenced by the smoothness of the footing rim, that is, the lack of roughness/scratching to the footing rim

The vase washed up beautifully with little effort, also indicating that this was a cherished or prized piece, attended to and not overly 'worked' as a planter ;)

EXCELLENT 91 yrs.-old vintage condition w/NO issues to report! The new owner will be very pleased with this piece :D
