The dancing Nataraja Shiva is considered one of the most popular deities of Indian Hinduism.
As the father of the gods of Ganesha and the highest authority of Shivaism, he experiences a special reverence.

Nataraja Shiva Meaning:
The cosmic dance of Nataraja Shiva as the king (raja) of dance (nata) is understood as a symbol of the constantly moving universe.
Shiva Nataraj is usually surrounded by a flame aura, which provides protection from all disturbing external influences,
but it also stands for the fire of the destruction of the old, which creates space for the new and symbolizes the eternal cycle of existence.

In his right hand he holds a small drum, symbol of the rhythm of creation.
His mantra is the OM, the original sound from which the entire creation emerged.
With his second right hand, Shiva holds a torch or flame as a symbolism of destruction and renewal. The downward left arm symbolizes compelling humility.

He stands dancing on the dwarf Apasmara, the "demon of ignorance". In dance, Shiva destroys ignorance and, moreover, the whole universe, which he recreates hotsell at the same time.
