Vintage Canon EOS 1000 FN (Rebel S II) Camera with a Sigma 35-80mm AF Lens f4-5.6 AF lens. Working Film Camera That's Ready to Shoot! Tested ! FREE shipping! Lens looks in good shape with no scratches or dust issues.

CONDITION:
As you can see from the pictures, the camera has no real wear but it is used. TO verify condition, I ran film through the camera with two shots on flash and rewound film back. All functions appear to work just fine. Lens shows no issues with haze, scratches and dust to affect shots. I cleaned off the sticky residue that is an issue with Sigma lenses of this date and it works fine. Due to the date of manufacture on the camera/lens, I cannot provide warranty.

The Canon EOS 1000N is a newer revision of the Canon EOS 1000 line of 35mm SLR (it's the same as the American version called EOS Rebel S II or often written with non roman spelling as EOS Rebel S2. Uses a 6V 2CR5 lithium battery

The improvements in these models over the EOS 1000 is a new shutter capable of a faster 1/2000s. The auto focusing speed has also improved with a more accurate and quicker response. The film hotsell advance and rewind mechanization has also been changed with a significant reduction in audible noise. The mode dial also contains a setting SF: for soft focus. This feature takes 2 exposures on the same frame. The first exposure is in focus and the second soft. The soft setting can be adjusted in two steps. A strange and unusual feature is the self timer that can play four different chimes during the count down. It's small size, light weight, and low cost make it the ideal camera to use as a back-up, to backpack in to a remote location, or to carry into a situation where you don't want to risk a more expensive camera.

This camera is in great condition and fully functional in every way. This camera is the kind of camera that's perfect for anyone, from the student photographer to the advanced enthusiast. It features the full suite of shooting modes, including fully automatic program, aperture priority, shutter priority, and full manual modes.
