A beautiful dragons and wizards chess set that has been handmade and rendered in an aged gold and deep burgundy finish. Each piece has been aged effected to bring out the wonderful details in the set.

The king stands tall at 14.5 cm (just shy of 6 inches) with a sturdy 4cm base. The dragon pawns are 9cm tall also with a 4cm base.

This is a truly remarkable chess set and is a real eye catcher. The pieces are large and heavy making this chess set an absolute pleasure to play with.

This set is cold cast and is finished in deep burgundy and metallic gold paintwork. The size and weight of the pieces offer a strong physical feel whereas the careful attention to the detailing of the highlights serve to enhance the delicate features within each piece.

At Mournestudios all boards and pieces are bespoke and are custom made and personalised just for you and as such will carry the name of the customer that they have been made for and the date of completion on the base of a number of pieces (usually each king, just beneath the felt), and for the boards simply under the felt.
