Rare vintage find- a vintage mid century L'AIGLON dress!

L'Aiglon pieces were made with great attention to detail. This has been a treasured piece in my personal collection- she's a beauty!

True vintage 1950s piece.
Fashioned of a lightweight & crisp woven fabric- red with a delicate abstract print in black.
Content is unknown but feels like a cotton blend, it's a high quality fabric.
The bodice is fitted with pintucks and small ruffles down the front.
Ivory pique collar trimmed in eyelet. (Collar is hand sewn on)
There is a vintage silver & rhinestone brooch at the neck- not sure if this was original to the dress but it looks perfect!
**If you have the dress dry cleaned, just be sure to remove the pin!

Pleated full skirt, 2” hem, thread loops at hips but no belt.
Metal zipper down the back, dress is unlined.

Excellent vintage condition, presents beautifully.
The white cotton collar has age yellowing, but it's pretty consistent (looks cream but I suspect it was originally whiter) I have not had this piece dry cleaned.
If you are very patient, you could remove the collar, soak it in a whitener and resew it back on, but it's very wearable as is.
No stains or weird odors.
