This listing is for a set of four small drinking cups possibly shot-glasses They.
This listing is for a set of four small drinking cups, possibly shot-glasses. They were made by hand on the potter's wheel from high-fire porcelain and fired to about 2300*F in a gas kiln. These cups were thrown on the wheel, then altered by paddling into a square shape, trimmed and carved. After the bisque firing they were decorated with slips, oxides and glazes. After that they were fired in a salt kiln, which means that the pieces are placed into a high-fire gas kiln, and the salt is thrown into the kiln at specific intervals during the firing. The salt creates a distinct glaze called "orange peel".
These shot-glasses are very unique. Each one was decorated in a different way. They hold 3 hotsell oz of liquid. They are very durable and with proper care they will last for a very long time. They are about 2.25" tall and about 2,25" in diameter.
