Antique Hungarian Homespun Grain sack fabric for stair rug runner carpet (GR010)
Twill weave combined with magical MIDNIGHT BLUE stripes.

The listing is for a heavy weight handwoven and homespun natural hemp fabric from around the 1910s. The bolt comes from Hungary, Europe, where home weaving has had a long tradition. And again, this fabric texture has a gorgeous twill weave combined with magical MIDNIGHT BLUE stripes. It will definitely be a charming complement to a rustic farmhouse.

Dark warm natural colour.

The fabric has not been laundered.
I would recommend a wash at 40C (104F), machine laundry will do, too. Iron when still a bit wet.
Please note that although the grainsack rolls have never been used, due to being stored for a long long time, they might have suffered some dirt or marking. After laundry most of them should vanish.
Also, although I did my best to reflect the actual and true colours with my camera, due to monitor differences, your impression may be different, too.

You can use it as a home decor or make a bench pillow, or any rustic home decor from it.
Besides its beauty, it is absolutely healthy and eco-friendly which is of prior importance.

A nice home decoration for a country home, no doubt.
Please note that the nature of the fabric implies some imperfections but I am sure it only enhances its beauty and natural patina.
