Three large unusual antique dress embellishments are professionally mounted on fabric inside a stunning shadowbox frame. Rescued at one time from a splendid antique garment, the oversized applique-style embellishments look to be a combination of dimensional cotton Schiffli lace, back in velvet and adorned with metallic thread. Further adornments include a multitude of gold-tone metal studs, both small round studs and larger flower-shaped studs. Housed inside the opulent frame, this arrangement makes for a beautiful presentation. The impressive frame measures 22" x 19" x 2.5". The largest framed piece is 11"x9". Label on the back from a Brooklyn, NYC frame shop.

In terms of condition, some aspects of the embellishments show some age, as is to be expected. There is some minor residue on the glass, some of the paper on the back shows some wear spots. The are some very fine and very small black particles near some of the framed embellishments -- likely, some of the velvet has shed somewhat. This is only noticeable on very close inspection.

This is a very heavy, oversized piece and will ship via USPS Priority Mail in the US -- due to the dimensions and weight hotsell, that will cost over $60 within the US. SHIPPING IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.
