This piece contains several vintage components including the center piece. It is an exquisite carved resin. Other vintage components include the little triangle shape beads. These pieces came from a vintage necklace that was cut apart. Other beads include Czech glass cabochons, Czech Fire Polish, Czech seed beads, and Japanese seed beads. The drop beads circling the vintage focal are from my stash and I have not been able to find this particular color and finish again. So they may be vintage. I have had them a long time. The piece is built on foundation primarily with back stitch and anchor stitch, then finished with an edge and picot on Italian leather sheepskin backing. Somewhat heart shape would make a great gift.
I originally made this for myself but Orange Sherbet is telling me she wants to fly away to another home.
The neck cord is a PRAW with 11/0 Seed beads and 11/0 Demi Round beads.
This necklace measures 20". Tip to Tip the embroidery is 3 1/4" and 3 1/2" wide at the fattest point. The clasp is a snap clasp.
